My message was not meant to sidestep the issue of expense control. I mearly stated a position I had known. I meant to purchase HP since I think it is a great company to own.

Now, DELL immunity, I think is a different question. I do not agree that DELL will also tank. The are on the momentum player's eyes = "The wunderkid", so they will stay there for a while, similar to what YHOO and the 'Net players were a few weeks ago.

I believe the Financial sector will be the "wunderkids" for the next few months and we will stop seeing gains of nearly $2/day on DELL, YHOO etc, but short DELL --> Its too risky, I would not do that at all.

Jim,
HWP has "missed" 8 of the last nine times. Their "excuse" this time is PC pricing, Asia, etc. Same old, same old.

Next week we will see just how different Dell really is.
