silInv, Writing calls against shares depends on one's view of the stock and overall market, there's no general rule. I wrote calls because my sense is that the market will selloff in the next few months. A stock like IMNX will certainly get hit since it has no profits and depends on FDA approval of Enbrel to take off. Also no guarantee of market reaction to approval, after all CEPH sold off. No idea when the drug sector selloff will end. Let's see if the sector will hold during market corrections. Market has not corrected yet.
