Yes, they did do one or two projects with Wonderware's MES offerings (I was peripherally involved with one of these projects), and some MES functionality with home-grown stuff, yet could have done a lot more in this area! TAVA's geographic coverage is very unique and huge strategic advantage, as is its size. That could have been exploited to position them as the defacto leader in the MES space, but they chose not to aggressively move in that direction, which perplexed me at the time because the margins were so much higher ($125-150 rates versus $50-90 for automation & controls work), while other smaller systems integrators made the investment, moved in, and made good money in this space, positioning themselves as the adjunct to the ERP and Supply Chain systems, which is where TAVA is aiming.

They'll get there. Eventually!
