Roy, are you sure Brocade only has one customer? What about Sun and IBM?

Roy, thanks for the confirmation. It is interesting to note that now both the Silkworm and MKII are produced out of the same facility in Minnesota...I wonder how long Brocade will continue to source production from MSL? Do the "chinese walls" at these contract mfgrs really exist?

PS - who is the new chair of the FCA?

With regard to the recent discussion on clustering and FC, here's a LANTimes article from January.

Clusters to figure in network storage
lantimes.com

includes this tidbit I was unaware of
<<G2 Networks Inc. and Compaq Computer Corp. are working on a commercial implementation of clustering technology.>>

Roy,

Since Vixel is supposedly providing Compaq with hubs and tranceivers, I'm curious as to what G2's role is? Thanks

And Kerry,

NUKO filing yesterday. About sums it up

Roy,

Without violating any NDA's you have, could you lay out an approximate timetable of when you see Fibre Channel really starting to take off? Will it be the second half of 1998, like we have heard, or will we have to wait until the first part of 1999? It seems as if a lot of companies are still planning to introduce products in 1998.
