Haven't visited this site for some time as I unloaded my MGJ
stock last year. I still get their faxes and I do occasionally
check the price which inevitably re-enforces my feelings that
I was correct in selling. I pulled out one of my old Bob Bishop
Stock Reports (Feb. 1997) and reminisced about the good ole days.
Francisco Gold..30.55, Gitennes..7.25, Conquistador..7.00, Major
General...62 CENTS. Well look on the bright side you (I) didn't
lose as much with MGJ. What's my point? Bob Bishop said it, "dead
money". Half way through '96 it became pretty apparent that MGJ
was 'dead money', (one of Bishops embarrassments). Some stocks
in this sector are beginning to stir, and there's money to be made.
Unfortunately I don't think MGJ is one of them.
