NO,
HWP is a few thousand+ employees too fat. Compaq, Dell and GTW are relatively lean compared to HWP. If HWP wants to make money in the sub $1000 market they won't be able to do it running fat like the printer and server divisions.

CPQ has already been scorched (thus 2 quarters of no profits already predicted and factored into price). The announcement by HWP was not news to CPQ...just a reminder of what we already know.
CPQ is rising on prospects beyond the next quarter or two.
