TOLEDO, Ohio, May 14 /PRNewswire/ -- NorAm Gaming & Entertainment Corp.
(OTC BULLETIN
BOARD: NRAG) announced today that the Joint Venture of NorAm and World
Touch Gaming has been
conducting demonstrations of their new electronic three number game, "Winner
Takes All", to gambling
interests in California and the Caribbean.

World Touch Gaming, Inc. President, Donald Fiechter, has just returned from two
separate meetings with
representatives of 40 California Indian Casinos. Mr. Fiechter met with the
representatives of the Southern
California Tribes in late April, and with the representatives of the Northern
California Tribes last week.

The "invitation only" demonstrations were prompted by the pending action of the
California State Government
and the U.S. Federal Government, to force the Indian Casinos to phase out Class
III slot machines, and
replace them with approved Class II games. The deadline for the Indians to
comply with the restrictions was
May 13, 1998.

According to a report from Mr. Fiechter to the Joint Venture, the results were
"overwhelming." "We
anticipated that the game would be well received, but considering the critical
situation currently faced by
Indian gaming interests in California, this game was by far, the star of the show.
The Tribes are familiar with
a similar game, which is played in many Indian Casinos across the U.S., in the
non-electronic format.
However, when they saw it happening without the intense labor requirement
usually associated with the
game, it was an instant hit."

Mr. Fiechter stated that if the game were ready to ship today, he feels confident
that the Joint Venture could
have 30 orders from the California Indian Tribes and another 10 orders from
Indian facilities in Oklahoma.

Additionally, Mr. Fiechter participated in another demonstration in Puerto Rico,
designed to give gaming
interests in Central America and the Caribbean a took at new gaming technology.
According to Mr. Fiechter,
"we received the same reaction in Puerto Rico as we did in California." The only
question they have is, "when
can we get it." The Caribbean demo was attended by approximately 300 casino
and bingo managers from
many countries in Central America and most of the Island gaming communities
throughout the Caribbean.

George C. Zilba, CEO of NorAm Gaming, has been working closely with
technical representatives from
Vaprel and World Touch to insure that the system will be ready for production by
the end of this quarter.
From that point on, it will be a matter of meeting the demand for the system.

In a previous release, (April 17, 1998), the Joint Venture partnership projected
gross revenue from the
installation of the system at $21,000,000, for the first year of operation.

This press release contains forward looking statements that are subject to risk
and uncertainties. Actual
results may differ materially from such forward looking statements as a result,
and uncertainties, including
those described in NorAm Gaming & Entertainment, Inc.'s reports filed with the
SEC.
