The T-Mex effect was responsible for the run up from 2.5 to 4.0. But it had that big run up from 1.5 to 2.5 long before that.

Anyway, Tm_mex is a good example of how stock run up and down for reasons that have to do with the distribution of sellers and buyers. T-Mex Effect is a good example of sloppy buying followed by pent up selling.
