RocketMan: here's a piece of the puzzle I haven't figured out. Given there's a Deep Pocket involved, it seems to me that it would leak out and there would be other deep pockets trying to scoop up shares at whatever price they could get. The standard recognition that the little people (some here are littler than others--I'm a littler) are usually the last to know. And I know this thread and Byron and macker and you and et al have been saying that one of the ground breaking elements about this DGIV saga/event is that little us are getting in before the big guns--I accept and am grateful for that. Just trying to solve how this reversal of fortune has been "allowed" to take place if there is a DP, when having one usually means the great whites quickly pickup the scent and move in for the all consuming meal? Anyone have an answer to this puzzle piece or has it been answered and I missed it? --dch

Hey, guys, some of you have asked me in private about the alleged huge pockets behind DGIV's acquisitions. Keep in mind, please, that I am not the guy to ask because I DON'T KNOW. And my guess is that NONE OF US KNOW. The way I do DD is to try and connect dots, and if someone says deep pockets, I look to see who the larger firms are. Dean Whittier, ML, Barney Smith, are the usual suspects, but I am not a money guy. I am just the engine guy. So ask the pilot or copilot for more, cause I don't know. For all I know it might be Pizza Hut :-)
