Sheri - the spread is always like this on stocks with a small float. But also, what I have seen, is that as a strong investor base is built, MM's begin running out of shares and as buying comes in they start raising the bid, narrowing the spread to induce people to sell. I've seen them do both, raise the bid as an inducement and drop the bid as a scare tactic. Life in the OTC.
