It's possible for Apple to be the next target for IBM's appetite.
Well, Apple's stock has been extremely stabilized since it went up
above $30. It's been seven consecutive trading days the price stayed
above $30. Today's the lightest volume since a couple of months ago.
The conventional wisdom tells us that when the price goes down and
the volume shrinks significantly, the trend will reverse in the near
future. This wisdom has been applied on the previous cases without
any exceptions, thus, I believe the stock will go up as late as
Monday afternoon. I wouldn't expect there are big swings tomorrow and
all May $30 calls will be of little value unless a positive news from
Apple on the final day of WWDC. I wouldn't hope there is a
significant uptrend next Monday morning since MM will clean up all
options without executions. The seven consecutive days remaining above
$30 provide us positive upward indication.
