Good post!

Paterson personalizes his biases and opines too often without any solid factual basis. I would like to see more substantial posts from him instead of the "fear, uncertainty and doubt" posts we have been getting.

re: I forgot, DELL fears nothing,
IS DELL Immune?

<<<From what? >>>

From every problem that has effected every company I can think of in the PC arena.

Please start a list of PC or PC related companies that have not had a problem in the last 6 months.

DELL is the only company I can list.
Yes, they have a great model, and great controlls etc..

Is that going to be enough to keep the stock aloft ?

Jim
IBM: Gersner said service related businesses are growing @ 20%, This growth, may by 2000, give IBM double digit revenue growth.
I read this as, the only way IBM is going to grow is through service/solution business.
When the biggest company in the computer business says the only real growth is in the service/sloution business, I would think that other companies would take notice.
Dell has no service/sloution business, Which means they may be missing out on a huge growth segment of the IT market.

HWP missed 8 out of 9? is there any site that keeps this kind of stats, sure would be helpful. I was really tempted to look at HWP
today since the drop of nearly 11pts. but i think i will stay away
from bargains. some bargains always remain bargains.
