[CLINTON ADMININSTRATION] '... Microsoft found a new friend in Congress yesterday. House Majority Leader Dick Armey (who we always suspected was a closet libertarian) defended the software giant, saying that it was fighting "government micro-management." Said Armey: "Who knows more about competition: a few lawyers in a Washington bureaucracy, many of whom have never held a job in the private sector, or the thriving entrepreneurs in today's high-tech industries, many of whom started out in their own garages and have now created millions of jobs?"
