To thread. Just returned home from Annual Meeting. I'm a bit tired and hungry, but I DID NOT HEAR ANYTHING TO BE WORRIED ABOUT!!! There is NO REASON for the drop in price that Nextel has recently experienced that I could discern from speaking to stockholders and Nextel executives - it's just general market worries/sentiment and a lack of understanding of how to properly value Nextel, IMHO. The Meeting lasted just over two hours with an excellent presentation by Akerson. He was very responsive and realistic to questions asked by stockholders. I have copious notes that needs to be organized + I taped most of the session. I will highlight the important points, as I understand them, and respond to your questions as best I can. Major contributors to this and other Nextel threads were present and said that they too will summarize and/or give their perspectives of the Meeting. Glad I went even though it was a long schlep. I'll be posting info for a couple of days, as I get it all organized in my own head.

Bernie, tired and not worried

Al, have you always been so fickle? What competitor
are you comparing NXTL with? You are an accounting
pro, but how well did you do in higher math?

Mike

<<Nextel: Brazil is the only good news? If so, hang on to your shorts!>>

Al, I guess by now you know better.

Bernie, holding long, and never letting them go.

Al, MS is not Microsoft, but Morgan Stanley.
