You are right you are asking the wrong guy, but as long as we agree on that, i'd say go for a new line or if you look into modem sharing or shotgun modems you may want to use both your existing lines together for one connection.

I have not done this, but it is being done and there are two or three different approaches to it.

Do a search for modem sharing or shotgun modem
