I'm not sure I understand. Selling naked puts/calls is one of the riskiest things you can do with options. You need to have mucho-buckos in the bank before a brokerage will let you do that.

You can write combination options to customize your 'bet', but usually it isn't worth the effort.

Selling a put against a stock you have shorted is always safer than shorting the stock without selling the options.

You may want to get one of the many good books on the subject of options.
