<I own a penny stock Loch-Harris (LOCH)....> Caveat Emptor

Larry, I think the best advice anyone could give to you is not to buy bulletin board stocks. If you've made that mistake then you should probably sell it and put your money in a listed company. Penny stocks are more like gambling than investing, and that includes the losses along with the rare windfall to suck you in. Press releases are often more hype than truth so you don't know what to believe.

There has to be some good companies in that pile of smelly stuff, and LOCH may be one of them, but why risk being involved in a scam?

Besides, according to former investors of LOCH, it has been written up in the past on this site:
stockdetective.com

Best wishes,
007

O/T re:LOCH

I would follow 007's advice. Take the money and run. I had a good year last year and started dabbling in all kinds of penny stocks, plus I've invested in oils for the past five years. You really have to have a very specific game plan to even think about touching these little gems, and if you're serious about playing, I would paper trade for a long while to develop the skills you'll need. I've had my head handed to me several times, and I was confident that I would be "nimble" enough to avoid any losses. With very few exceptions, there are very good reasons why these stocks trade at the prices they do, and finding out why is next to impossible. Any information posted on SI is suspect unless it can be verified through Fed filings. In fact, the enthusiasm on these threads is infectious, and the exact opposite of the sceptical, no nonsense approach you should take to these and any other investments. The problem is, by the time info. on these stocks is publically available, your pockets have been picked clean.

Good luck whatever you decide.

Alex
