<Off Topic> Brokerage accounts

Thanks for the responses. I have just discovered a site which gives ratings and analysis for most of the "Deep Discount" and "Middle Cost" brokers for on-line accounts. Seems like good stuff for anybody interested.

It is my experience with NDB that Mark's statement in paragraph 2 are correct. I have traded as many as 16k shares in three separate trades on the same day (on the same side buy or sell) and only been charged $14.75 for a market order. You are notified by email and sent confirmation by mail. All trades on a given day in the same direction for a given stock are listed on one sheet with a single charge of $14.75. A few additional cents SEC fees (0.08, 0.11) are added on for sales only.

later and good luck, leroyt

Maybe a board should be started for discount brokerages! Give the rest of us a break and take it off line, please?
