I see a lot of assertions, but not a lot of facts. Predicting the future is difficult at best. I can give you an equally compelling list of reasons they will do well:

1) Two bigger ones to start: Western Hemisphere, Southern Hemisphere
2) New management with a recent record of superior execution of plans
3) Leadership in the telephony market of the next century (iridium)
4) Leadership in the microprocessor market (you can run win95 application in an emulator on a powerbook faster than the fastest intel laptop and run them natively)

You want more?

5) Try to estimate the forward earnings for the company. I see many quarters of earnings growth.

You can feel free to attack these assertions, but they are just as "valid" as yours, and I think I gave more examples.

People have been badmouthing Intel and Motorola for the last year, but I don't see either of them executing their plans poorly. Stock performance isn't great for either of them, but the companies seem to be laying the groundwork for a great 2000-2005, in both cases.
