That's true! At it's best, they tell you that your version of
the compiler is no longer supported and you should upgrade. At
it worst, you get on a Microsoft support forum and Mike B. tells
you what a miserable programmer you are for not using MFC the
right way (I've seen it done).

Yes, that's the sign that I consider so interesting ... that
Intel, via DSG and other means, is reaching out to developers
in a significantly improved way -- quality and quantity.

Microsoft has never learned this lesson and has, since the DOS
says, persisted in alienating lots of folks ... it's developer
relationship group is constantly undertaking failing revisions
of their policies and procedures ... doomed to failure, in a
sense, being incompatible with MFST's innermost "angst".

From where I sit, Intel has long been undistinguished, sometimes
good, sometimes bad ... I see a "new" Intel in these changes ...

The faster the silicon cycle goes, the more you want your clients
leaning forward.
