At it worst, you get on a Microsoft support forum and Mike B. tells you what a miserable programmer you are for not using MFC the right way (I've seen it done).

Microsoft has never learned this lesson and has, since the DOS says, persisted in alienating lots of folks ... it's developer relationship group is constantly undertaking failing revisions of their policies and procedures ... doomed to failure, in a sense, being incompatible with MFST's innermost "angst". From where I sit, Intel has long been undistinguished, sometimes good, sometimes bad ... I see a "new" Intel in these changes ... The faster the silicon cycle goes, the more you want your clients leaning forward.
