I'm having a really hard time deciding what data from cancer trials means. It's hard to attach much meaning to statistics given the often small numbers involved. Also, the selection criteria for the trial tend to cause a bias against success. Add to that reports of side effects of various kinds which may seem severe but pale when you consider the obvious side effect of non-treatment... Torben
