I told you what I meant in the last post. Remember buy a computer that plays a different tune. If you insist on a Pentium based machine then you will have to use Linux or MSFT at the moment. Linux is free. Once again buy a Unix machine. Buy a Mac Machine. Those are your alternatives for now. Don't you get it CPQ,DELL,Gateway use the OS of their "choice". They could choose to build boxes that support other systems but they don't because MSFT was not greedy in the beginning and has not been greedy since as far as the consumer is concerned. MSFT unlike Jobs will license to anyone with money in their hands and who is willing to sign their contract. As far as 3rd party developers are concerned they must be happy because what system do they write their programs for. Come out of the academic ivory tower. JFD
