Joe...I covered my short position at $23 today.. Any advice on TA for this stock. I'm bearish long term, but think it may provide good trading opportunity.

JO..comments appreciated

QNTM is looking weak short term

Hi Joe,

Ifail to understand why QNTM is performing weak at present. In the past couple of weeks QNTM AND SEG have both received upgrades, but the stock price is back to where it was some time ago. Why? The only reasons I see are doom and gloom reports from INTC, HWP and NSC forecasting reduced earnings due to Asia, price erosion et al.We have heard all these stories repeatedly in this sector for months, and have presumably been discounted. Why should the same old chestnuts still bring yet further rounds of lament? Didn't these abundantly paid analysts foresee this when they handed out their upgrades; or am I missing the point? (as usual as my wife frequently reminds me)

Please someone enlighten me !!!

Alan
