Hello John,

Yes, I did see the earnings report. The forecasted results that were outlined to me by my contacts came in as expected. I found the developments to be favorable in many aspects: a more diversified revenue base, higher gross profits combined with lower expenses, more cash, the upcoming VLSI Thunderbird, and of course, the granddaddy of them all, the Cetera in the fourth quarter.

As I understand it, this quarter should be the last one in which Q will have negative earnings. A couple people, including myself, are sitting at the bids of the day, looking to acquire more at these depressed levels. TA as a speculative tool has no bearing on my acquisition strategy; I've seen enough to tell that it's going to be pretty hard for it to pierce through the support at $2.50.

This is an $8.00 stock in two years, and I'm convinced enough, assuming the eventual rollout of the Cetera, such that I am willing to commit a significant amount of my capital base to this issue alone, if such circumstances ever require me to halt my trading activities. With the rollout being considerably far enough away though, I can be patient with my acquisition price; I am looking forward to any weakness in price to reduce my cost of entry.

I think partially my current thinking is being aided (if you can call it that) by my current trading drought. I haven't found anything that I truly liked enough (aside from QSound and Perle) to buy and hold (or even trade). I'm sitting here with no real action, so with all this free time, I cranked out the books and started the Financial Shenanigans thread so I could at least feel I was progressing towards something. Maybe something will come up. Or maybe I'm not looking hard enough.

Regards,

Rainier

P.S. What do you like, and why?
P.P.S. I thought the last Seinfeld was a little disappointing.
P.P.P.S. Post script, post post script, not post script script.
