Hey, I make a ton of money off those idiots, er... fine customers that buy Pentium computers. The motherboard/cpu costs a good bit less, so I just mark them up more. It still comes out cheaper (in the short run) to the customer. Plus, they'll be back in a year to upgrade to a P2. Amazingly enough, I tend to have a sale on P2 upgrades about a year after customers buy a Pentium. If I sold them a P2 right off the bat, how could I get that second cut off the upgrade?
