There is definitely going to be shareholders vote to increase shares from 1 bil to 3 bil, nearly guaranteed to pass.
Management can then declare a split whenever they feel it is
appropriate, which seems to be when Dell gets above $100 .
There is no hanky-panky at Dell in regards to the splits,
its not to make a few people in-the-know rich, or to accommodate
dumping of shares. It is simply to keep the stock affordable.
If not for the numerous splits( 4 in 5 years, I believe)
stock purchased for $20 in 1993 would be selling at @$1240 today.
