I don't think MU going out of business is the issue - I don't think there's any chance of that happening - but the question is whether they will be able to make the investments needed to compete in the 256mb generation. MU can generate cash flow if they stop investing. They can become another Zilog that does a slow fade. Also, they can sell MUEI equity, MU equity, junk bonds, ...
