Had the same problem today

Was watching XYBR on my P133 with 64Mb and RTTrader was clearly dying under the load (I have a cable modem so the inbound bandwidth for ticks is very wide). Program would not respond to normal windowing actions. Just sat their racheting thru the ticks. Judging from the comments I was seeing on #daytraders it looked like the ticks were lagged by a good 2-3 minutes as well.

Obviously this is an extreme stress test but I am curious as to what causes the program to do this and if a faster CPU would solve the problem.
