People should reread the press release. It says that CSFB is the "lead" in the financing. Doesn't say what percentage but does mention a Chicago firm.

If this is just another dilution to keep the company afloat for another quarter, then it's not good news. But I doubt that CSFB would have put their reputation on the line just for that. Not at this time with all the bad PR surrounding Par. And I doubt they would have issued a press release to give it attention. Press releases are not required.

But if there is "meat" behind it, like significant new revenue, or maybe a spinoff, then it probably will be good news for shareholders. I guess we'll find out soon.
