"...every little bit of information that must be paid for must be strictly rationed." Right. Can't afford to prepare a financial statement to file bad news. But they can still afford to pay for press releases of "good news" hype about potential pie in the sky deals with the Turks; all they have to do is change the national laws of an entire nation to get tax-free status for Manova. Now we have to endure lectures on the politics of foreign nations, when the company can't even negotiate successfully with their local DHEC agency. Sure, it's the fault of the lawyers; they are the devil who made BC do every thing he did! But against incredible odds, he remains a man who can instill our confidence (what does "con" stand for in the phrase "con-game"?); he is obviously an innocent victim of bad breaks and misunderstandings, that's all. Yes, I am SURE that he is presently bankrolling the company with personal funds. I am just surprised that the lawyers have not seen fit to proudly announce the generous infusion of capital from BC. Enough ranting for me for now. Just thought I'd let everybody know that I am still here and that I am still long (and therefore broke). Bruce p.s. How do you create an accurate K-1 for partners without a balance sheet and an income statement? Doesn't the fact that you issued a K-1 imply the existence of those documents, a form 1065, etc? Aren't you LPs pissed off that these basic and fundamental documents are being withheld from you? p.p.s. Does registering as a used car dealership or junkyard instill confidence in anyone here?
