From Rhonda's "company review": A.R. Brooks & Associates' newly designed packaging for the wood based kitty litter is being produced by a supplier in Florida and will be available as samples to our Master Broker within a three week period. At a meeting held in Phoenix in April 1998 it was ascertained, based on information made available from the American Veterinary Medical Association, to target states which have the highest number of cats per household. Combined with available production of litter using the most cost effective transportation rates from plant to retailer, this will translate into a marketing program which will target the states of California and New England commencing in the month of June.

The Company has developed an aggressive marketing promotion to introduce the product, develop brand name recognition, gain immediate market share and to reduce slotting fees, where possible. Cost of this marketing program will come from sales. While the $800 million kitty litter market is vast, there are relatively few brand names which have national awareness. It is the goal of Cashco, over time, to make Paws Only a name which consumers think of when looking for a wood based litter product. Three suppliers have been selected to produce the product over the next calendar year. The Company is confident that the suppliers chosen have the facilities and access to raw material to meet production demands. It is anticipated, given retailer lead times, that the product should be on the shelf by late summer 1998.

The packaging is being manufactured in Florida. We don't know where the litter itself will be made.

Well Joe I think you are talking possibly about this post:

Three suppliers have been selected to produce the product over the next calendar year.

Roni wasn't at all specific about the locations of these distributors. Once again, if you can see my point, it seems that all trails to facts lead back to the company. Independent verification of what the company is saying is crucial in verifying their statements. A number of people, that have identified themselves as longs, keep saying to call the company and ask. Well imo that dog just won't hunt. Due diligence is not just accepting what the company says as fact.
