The anger stems not from discussion, but from your hard stance with no proof. The others ask you to support one thing you believe and all you will do is tell them to go read a book. Why don't you give them something to debate. BTW I am reading The Egyptian book of the Dead. And I have two questions? 1. Care to tell me what chapter this son of god is in? 2. How many times have you lived ? I too came from a Church of Christ background, and know what you are saying about we learned Christ by fear of hellfire, rather than love. It took me a few years and heartaches to find the love of Christ, but it is there to be found. But it took effort. dan
