H-bombs are a whole different beastie than A-bombs... because you need
a A-bomb as a primer to kick off the H-bomb. A-bombs are much harder to get the fissile material for while the prime ingredient of a H-bomb can be extracted quite easily from water. Understanding how to do something is of little value if it's virtually impossible to do it for other reasons. Bomb grade fissile material is the hitch, and this is what these country's are proving they can make... It's not quite something that can be made in a garage and we all better hope it never is... because there's some kook out there that will use it if they can get access to it... The fact that it still requires the resources of an entire country to make these things does make me a bit more comfortable... but sooner or later one of those country's is going to be run by someone that is not playing with a full deck and may be incessed enough to actually use them irrationally. The probabilities of that scenario go up with every successful test...
