Agree on the PR observation, been my main complaint for over a year.
If a new issue, highly traded stock doesn't have someone on board who can pick up the phone and talk to TV anchors, magazine/print editors, and radio hosts by their first name, something is wrong. Vivus has missed countless opportunities because nobody knew who they were. Now that they have an angle and high visibility, they are, as usual, doing little with the momentum and the opportunity. The CEO should have several publishable releases on his desk every morning and see to it that the best hit the the wire. These are big boy/girl rules. See how they play. Vivus watches from the sidelines frequently, and waits for what? All in my opinion.

I read from WSJ that Vivus submitted an audio ad, and the narrative was by a woman's voice. The FDA asked the company to redo it with a man's voice. They said woman's voice will mislead the potential customers, things like that. Funny.
