Not sure if this has been posted, but it could have something to do with the falling stock price:

Jerome -

Here is the text of a post from Yahoo.

"Check out www.imagek.com

Seems there's digital film on the way that works in all 35mm cameras - 30 shots reuseable 100,000 times. It uses flash memory - hope it's Sandisk's. If anyone knows please post."

1. I haven't bothered to investigate this film because for some reason it really doesn't frighten me. I think this is because although I haven't even seen it I feel it must be more complicated than working a D-cmaera, also d-cameras must be better for working with computers also d-camers benefit from having been designed as d-cameras and I just can't think about putting anything else in my Leica other than normal film which I then get developed in a normal way.

Digital means digital camera I think and I think thats what the market will do. This other stuff sounds gimmicky.

In any event as I've been saying here for a long time (relatively) d-camers are not SNDK's big market. The MMC side is going to be much bigger. Not only telephones but also automobiles are being given Windows or Windows CE paltforms. I forget the exact details about the cars but a credit card sized MMC chip which anyone can put in their wallet or pocketbook and which contains all your personal driving details and phone stuff and for that matter anything else which coud be useful to you as you spend more and more time stuck in traffic can all go on your credit card sized SanDisk.

Lastly why the hell is the stock at $17 and when is this going to stop and turn around.

regards as ever,

L

Jerome and JTS -

I've just seen a post on XYBR that refers to Kurlack having trashed INTC and SOX on Friday. I just wonder or maybe hope that that may be the reason SNDK dropped again and big.

Have you seen any info on what his comments were or where we can get to see what he had to say?

Regards,

L
