Tell you what. I picked three stocks that I expected to hit home runs. I am OK with CTAL, and even though I have gains I feel that it still has a great future that largely remains as potential. They have had to sell a lot of shares, and I have to recognize that expansion of capitalization means stock prices will not jump and dazzle as quickly as others, but the potential is there and being worked by management which I feel is outstanding. Another choice was Gaylord Container. The price has doubled, and since it is a special situation cyclical stock, in my opinion I can only expect perhaps 5 more points before time to sell and run on it. And the third stock, Igen, is one I feel has hugh potential. I bought it at $5 to $12, and it went to 46 before falling back to its present 33. It obviously is painful to see the market pushing a favored friend around, and there is strong urge to nail down profits....but I firmly believe it only needs more time to do a great deal better. The market has a mind of its own, and it will go what it is going to do. I am convinced that I know my companies better than I know what this goofy market will do. Reacting to the market will affect your taxes, any it is a gamble whether money will be saved or more will be spent to get back in. Guess I will hang fast.
