The option manipulators have set 17.5 +/- .375 as the price for this stock at the close. Hopefully once this monthly nonsense is over we can get some upside movement next week.

If your logic were true, then explain why ADTRAN isn't suffering. Also with the Rockwell, China, and yesterday's Nortel deals how can you make such a statement. It is also quite interesting how your posting time matches with the stock dropping like a rock. Are you short?

Dear Doug - PAIR is a 2-headed animal. When you cite CSCO, LU and NN, or any other co for that matter, it is xDSL. It may affect PAIR RADSL but not HDSL. For the latter, PAIR and ADTN are the two dominant players. This is the recurring mistaken identity about PAIR. The greater concern is the longevity of HDSL and Higain product lines. Right now, I think people are afraid of the margin squeeze when PAIR decided to cut the pricing of the Megabit Modem product line. rgds Bosco
