Wiz, thanks for those.. I'll repost one of those here, as it has much general interest.. techweb.com But amidst the gloom, did you notice the kind words for the photomask folks..PLAB, DPMI, ETEC... The DRAM like appears to take the biggeest hit... and how do any of the SE Asian companies make a competitive move on LSI?? Didn't you note that they had tried that once? TSO

Again the gloom is not general. There is a reference to certain ASIC products in a favorable light --(eg, LSI? ) ... Anyway, worth a read.. TSO
