Don't companies tend to avoid posting news on Fridays, since the information is lost in the shuffle over the weekend?
Good PR tends to issue releases on Monday-Wednesday, unless something is breaking and urgent...

VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 15, 1998--

NUKE:OTC BB

Rhombic Corporation is pleased to announce that the company is completing a $200,000 financing, and
is negotiating terms of a major private placement with a New York brokerage group.

The initial $200,000 financing will prepare for the company's move to a more established stock
exchange. Also, it will fund the beginning of the second and final stage of developing Rhombic's patented
N and P type dimond technology at Columbia, Missouri.

Through a licensing agreement with Daimler Benz Aerospace, Rhombic Corporation soon will receive
long term royalties from world wide sales of all Inertial Electrostatic Confinement (IEC) neutron
generators. Rhombic retains the marketing rights for all the IEC units throughout North America.

The IEC fusion generator produces millions of neutrons per second through the fusion of heavy hydrogen
atoms to helium, the process which maintained the sun's energy for billions of years.

NUKE: DD I did 2 months ago on this company led me to hold off on buying. It was claimed that Daimler Benz Aerospace was very close to paying the first royalties to Rhombic (NUKE). I sent an e-mail to DBA asking for verification, on April 12, 1998.

I can't find the reply, I wanted to include it in this post. Unfortunately, I have to rely on memory, but the essence was that the soonest royalties would be paid was the end of 1998 or the beginning of 1999. Also, the partnership did not extend to the full product line, but only one, (possibly two, again, per my recollection).

I thought this was a good buy, and may still buy in future, but the reply from DBA was instrumental in my postponing purchase until later this year. -AuFingr
