Looks like reality is raising its ugly head on Wall Street today, courtesy of HP and National. Tried my first short sale recently, on Novellus, because I thought they had gone up an awful lot with no clear sign of recovery in the industry. I did it against the box because I'm chicken and I had some gains in the stock, with a 14 month holding period. So far, so good.

Too chicken to try shorting AMAT, even though I suspect there is more downside to go.
