CTBT in its present form is a sham.

Nick and everyone:

CTBT- Anybody in their right mind with an iota of commonsense wouldn't sign the CTBT other than the members of the 'Club'.It just doesn't make any sense.I have no idea how they got the +100 members to sign it. This treaty is a sham.

If it were a legitimate one and if there were any true desire to eliminate nuclear proliferation the treaty should have called for a provision whereby everybody would eliminate and abandon their nuclear weapons. Now that would have been a treaty!

What I don't understand is what are the compulsions of the nuclear states to keep theirs.I don't see France,UK,or the U.S being surrounded by hostile neighbors!!! If these three countries were willing to give up their nuclear arsenal I am sure Russia and China would willingly give up theirs with some hand holding. None of these guys want any real peace it is all bull shit,to put it crudely.

I don't know what the hell the Japs are pissed off about, hell they were bombed for legitimate reasons and we all know what they are.So if I were them I would shut the hell up.

I am with you I hope India never signs the CTBT in its present form.
