Which is exactly why in buying my house I had to have wood burning capabilities; which we like having anyway. I would put in a wood burning stove, if possible, as an alternative before relying on a gas generator.

I think Brian will be OK with the Honda generator if he converts the unit to methane and buys 500 chickens to power it.
