Joe's tomato tip:
Plant the plants in a 8" hole and bury
1/2 the plant. The hole catches and holds rain
and can be filled in with compost as the plant grows.
I usually put fish heads under my plants but I'm not
gonna have time to to that this years but I'm sitting on
it least 400 lbs of my own killer compost. That will be
sufficient to get everything going and then some. Don't
forget to lime!
