Mr.Gull,

Why are you baiting people now? Why is the identity of Infoman to be divulged later? Why not let whatever develops just happen?

Here is my theory (and I mean no offence):

A) You are short SUF and expecting further negative news. This seems unlikely because a real short argues for higher stock prices in the short term to increase profit later. Some other contributors seem more likely to be short than you.

B) You are long SUF and looking to pick up bargain priced stock by knocking it down. But this seems unlikely, because you've had ample opportunity to do so and would only be harming your own welfare.

C) You have no monetary position with regard to SUF share price. This implies your efforts on this thread are driven by either a benevolent desire to educate the poor wretches who are long (this doesn't fit with the name calling) or you have other motivations. This seems more likely, and would serve to explain your knowledge of the "heirs" position.

Some questions for you:

Why do the "heirs" not want an equity position in Marsfontein? Is there not the possibility that other pipes/fissures exist?

Who had a meeting earlier this week with Mr. Maduna? And why?

How did it come pass that the mineral rights for Marsfontein were not bequeathed by four different individuals, when other mineral rights were a part of their estates? Were the Marsfontein rights sold previously? If not, can this be proved conclusively?

Has DeBeers actually paid any money to the "heirs"? If so, how much and when? If not, why not? Why would DeBeers wait until the legal action was over? Surely their advisors understand RSA mining laws and precedent. Wouldn't they gamble a few million dollars on this issue, with such a large potential windfall?

Is DeBeers motivation really a couple of million carats from M1, or might they see other developments?

I don't really understand all of what is happening here. But I do know that I'm long SUF, have faith in management, and expect a positive conclusion before too long.

PS Any bets on M1 being mined before July?
