I AM NOT just referring to BTO (If you are, you should have said so!)..What about cash management capabilities, market segmentation, internet sales....(I could go on). The others (CPQ, HP, IBM) should eventually learn to squeeze a little more margin out of their new (hybrid) model of selling PC's, but their models are fundamentally flawed at this stage of the game...

I am only responding to your original statement (not your follow-up)..Surely you know that Dell's success is based on much more than just BTO (look at GTW, Micron for that answer)...

I'm sure that you have done some homework, but just not as it refers to this one, original statement....
