No, I'm not so young as to not understand the possible problems of nuclear war. The dangers are far greater than from an accident with a reactor. The reason I mention these things is that,in history, the fear of war has driven a higher gold price.
I was taught to hide under my school desk & shield my eyes in case of the coming blast(during the cold war).
The reason gold would be so good during nuclear problems, is that people like Bill Gates can line a room or two with it & far less is required than lead or soil for same protection.
My father explained teachers were crazy,that even fall-out shelter was useless that near ground zero.
