Greetings Mark, Thank you for a most excellent question. Please let us allow Scripture to respond; John 6:44, "No one can come to me, unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up on the last day. John 12 :32, " and I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to Myself ". These next verses is the work of the Holy Spirit of God; " John 16:8-11, " And when He ( Holy Spirit) has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of rightousness, and of judgement: of sin, because they do not believe in Me, of rightousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more; ,of judgement, because the ruler ( satan )of this world has been judged. Mark , blessed are you should the Holy Spirit be convicting you of unbelief of Jesus Christ. We in ourselves are born spiritually dead, it takes a sovereign act of God by His Spirit to awaken us from this adamic death. I did not choose God, Mark, He chose me first and out of that response from Him , I gratefully responded, and began a life long journey to made into the image of His Son,the Lord Jesus Christ. You are close to the Kingdom Mark, respond to His calling, You will never, never regret it. Eternal Father, grant Mark to see Your ascended Son on His throne and find his hearts desire which is a relationship with You. Robert
