IRSN - a microgyro too!

There's even more to IRSN. They make a MEMS like product called a microgyro. This thing is tiny and can sense motion, angles, etc. in realtime to control tiny other tiny MEMS or pass the info to bigger computers. You could build a life-size bird and the autogyro can tell you when it is going up or down, turning right or left, etc.

Now how about a MEMS on a robot controlled arm. The autogyro tells the direction, angle, pitch, etc. The robot fingers reach out, when contact is made another MEMS senses moisture and pressure. A voice is heard ("higher") - the perfect backscratcher!
