Brian,

So far it looks like Ben Anaitis'(sp) options analysis for closing price of AMD today at between $25 and $27.5 is wrong , probably the Kurlak effect.

I couldn't have put it better... ;-))

It's tough to factor an over 8% price drop that occurs on the very last day...

Brian,

I think the next generation of CPU will consumer most for the capacities. This will put capacity back to 0.35um (in relative term). However, more carrots will need to be put up before consumers are willing to upgrade from the 6th generation. A big carrot is softwares. I don't see that will happen soon. So the immediate one is price. All players will have to sell more silicon per less.

<However what he is overlooking is that CPUs can incorporate large amounts of cache and other features which will increase size of die and at the same time increase performance and price , thus reducing
overproduction . >

Hey Brian, you got one right!!! Good for you.
