Sort of OT to anyone: trying to stay the course today with this group and cleaning out some very old files and what do I find but a stock certificate for Louisiana Land and Exploration Co. from the early 50's. It belonged to my great aunt who was a free lance secretary to lots of the original drillers in Oklahoma (back when it wasn't even a state). Some of these guys used to pay her with these things(Bill Skelly back in the 20's)Along with this certificate was another one for Bethlehem Steel (from when they made oil field equipment in OK), that one probably should just be framed. Any thoughts from ya'll still in the oil patch?
